Beau TB Gelding March 19, 1985 - August 18, 2000

This is Beau.  He was a wonderful horse.  We did so much together. I learned alot over the years with him.  We showed, did trails, went overnight camping, went to the beach and in the ocean.  We had so much fun together! He injured his hind leg in October 1999, he severed his tendon sheath.  He had 6 months off to heal.  He lost so much muscle during this period.  I started working him very slowly again....and he was doing better.  However, there was still something wrong.  Apparently, the stiffness and lameness from the injury was masking another problem.  He was taken to an equine clinic and diagnosed with EPM......advanced stages. In order not to let him suffer.....he was put down.  This was the hardest decision I have ever had to make!  I told him that I will never forget him. I asked him to forgive me. Forever in my heart!
