Cletus
This is Cletus.  He was our pride and joy.  Very sorry to say that we lost him in Sept. 2001.  He loved to eat poison ivy.  As you can see, he also was very good at standing up.  Well, he stood up against a tree and got his hoof caught in a Y in a tree, trying to eat high up.

We were gone all day and into the evening.  When we found him, it was too late!

Martina
One of our does.  The leader of the females.  She gets very upset if others are out of her sight!

This is the youngest of our does!  She is our little baby.  She stays with the other goats but when I (mommy) is around she loves to sit on me !!  She loves to be held.   Spoiled???

She was very small when we got her and has grown very much.  She does not let the others push her around.   When she head butts she uses her ears ......... "Don's mess with these ears!".   It is funny to watch.

Reba
She was so shy when we got her.  Now she comes to us for head rubbing.  She will pull at your clothes until you pet her.

Reba hops around like a rabbit.  She bounces when she runs.

This one is still shy.  We can pick her up and hold her like a baby and she will stay there for long time......as long as you have her near a tree so she can eat the leaves!!!

Gee.....can you tell we like country music?

We brought him home August 15, 2001.
He has sure grown.  He just loves attention and is very vocal.

He enjoys playing tough-guy with the bigger goats.  It is a riot to watch him around the horses.  He likes chewing on the tails of the horses!
Tim
He was brought home on August 11, 2001.  Apparently, at a real young age, he got away from someone and was turned in to animal control.  We thought he would be much happier with our herd...........he is.  He is percentage Boer.  He needs to pick up some weight and will fill out nicely.
